The launch of v1.0.0!

Hai! I'm back losers! It sure has been a while huh. Well, I've got big news today! My site is ready for launch! Is it out today? Tommorow? I don't know! The point is, it's ready at it's bare minimum, and ready to be seen! Yay!! I didn't do nearly as much as I have laid out before, but that's because as I said, this is it at it's minimum! I can always make it better later. Right now, it just needs to exist, and now it does!

Now, what does version one entail? Honestly, not too much, but it makes me very happy so far! Allow me to show you some screenshots! It may feel a little redundant to show you screenshots since you can just go see the pages right now, but that may not be true. If you're in the future, the site probably doesn't look like this anymore! So, come with me and I'll show you my house!

Of course, I'll start with the homepage! It's a lot like the homepage I showed before, but with more decoration, and less content. My other page ideas are to come later! For now it just has what's ready. You may also notice how it says "Version 1.0.0" in the corner. That I am having as taking inspiration from video games! This way you can know if an update was anything really noticable or worthwile at a glace. I also think it's cute! I may change the system a little, but here's how I'm deciding it for now. The first digit is for a major update. This would be either a new page, or a big change to the site visually. The second digit is for slight changes. This would be a new blog post, adding a substantial amount of new graphics, and things like that. The thrid digit is for very minor stuff! This would be minimally updating code for whatever reason, like renaming pages, fixing typos, adding a graphic or two, or fixing something that isn't working the way it's supposed to. Or, just making the code more organized, even if it doesn't change anything visually. Like I said, minor stuff!

Also, you may notice my silly crayon drawing that's there. I wanted to make an animated gif here, but my carpal tunnel is pretty bad right now, so I'm unable to draw for the time being. Therefore, he's a placeholder! More or less anything unfinished will have that as a placeholder.

Something else I added here not previously mentioned is some things for eyestrain! At the bottom of the middle div you'll notice some buttons. They're pretty self explainitory if you read them. Previously I had the background be this super bright rainbow one, but very recently I decided that I liked the "dark mode" version more! So, now dark mode is the default, but light mode can be switched on at any time! There's also the "reduce eyestrain" button, which darkens and desaturates the whole page! Above you can see what these different modes look like when activated!

I also completed my socials page! Remember when I said I wanted to do it, but I wanted a new animated profile picture for it? Well, I did it! Here's the new socials page and profile picture!

This is one of the easier pages to code, but I still love it! This is a place for all the graphics I've made or edited, free for others to use! It's the most cohesive place for these. It even has lots I never posted anywhere else! In the screenshot it's only showing the blinkies, but there are tons more types of graphics. Why not take a look?

Next up is my toy box! In general on the indie web, a toy box page is a place to keep your collection of adoptions and/or graphics! Mine is pretty broad though, as it basically has all of everything I've collected! That means gifs, stamps, blinkies, favicons, pixels, userboxes, moodboards, and more!

As you may be able tell I'm missing a lot of the pages I've fanasized on earlier, but what can you do? I must get on the indie web! I have things to share! I have a self to express! Something is better than nothing, and now I have a framework! So exciting! I would have also liked to do my to-do list, to have all my plans laid out and public. However, I thought of something funnier, and went with that instead!

It's so stupid I know, but I think it's hilarious, and saves time for now. Anyhow, the site is pretty minimal as you can tell, but I'm happy that it now exists. For my first website, I think it's super kewl. I also made my own font! This whole site is in my handwriting! How fun!

So in conclusion, my site is ready, and I am happy! I am excited to add new things to the site, and to the blog as well! I have a lot I want to blog about. But, I won't spoil that now. You didn't think all my blog posts where going to be about making the site did you? Of course not! It can get way cooler in here! So, I'll just have to see you there. Adios!
